This is a lasercut file for the Settlers of Catan Seafarers 5-6 Player Extension.
I have uploaded the file in both Rhino .3dm and Illustrator .ai files. I designed and modified this in Rhino and if you want to edit it in that program you can download a free trial from their website. I have exported it as Illustrator if that's easier for you also.
If you need a copy of the rules, they are available on the catan website as well: https://www.catan.com/service/game-rules
A few things to note:
-The ships come in 2 parts which I call the base piece and the set piece. You have to glue to the set piece on top of the base piece if you make these out of 1/8" material like I plan to do. Alternatively you could use 1/4" material and not need the base pieces.
-I plan to make the board pieces out of 1/4" material then coloring the hexes after they are done with some sort of color mixture (will update later with what I did). I plan to make the ships, catan tokens, and harbor markers out of 1/8" material.
-All black lines are meant to be cut and red lines are meant to be etched (They don't show this way in the image but they do in the .3dm and .ai files).
-All regular terrain hexes have the a center hole cut out of them which creates a place for the number tokens. After placing the number tokens in the resource-producing hexes, place the remaining tokens with the skeleton on them in the desert. The uniformity was so that you can mix all of the hexes together without telling what any are (even the desert has a center hole though it doesn't technically need a place for a number token).
-The water hexes have varying designs on them but they all perform the same function of being the water for the seafarers to cross. It was just done to add some visual to those so they're not blank hexes. These do not have center cuts since they do not need to be mixed with the resource-producing hexes.
More actual pictures of the board to come after I have made and colored the tiles and pieces.
Look for all of my lasercut catan sets since I am making the expansions too:

Catan Ultimate Lasercut: Coming Soon
-This file will be the ultimate Catan experience in lasercut form. It will combine the base game with all expansions and 5-6 player extensions in one full set using the fewest number of pieces required to play any of the scenarios and variants. This should save on resources when cutting and use less storage space. Ideal for those that don't have any lasercut pieces yet and want to cut everything to play any of the scenarios.
Individual Lasercut Pieces: Coming Soon
-This contains all of the individual files that I created and combined together to make the various games, expansions, and extensions. They are all in Rhino .3dm so you will need some program that can handle those files since that is the program I used to design and edit these pieces. This is ideal for those who want to easily remix for example one hex picture or one player piece.
