update 3/31/17 I have included a table, different faceplates, and a fumehood.I would also recommend using a buck converter in lieu of the voltage regulator, mine produced more heat than i thought and was unsafe to put in without a massive heatsink. The buck converter is larger but is easier to wire up and wont burn down your house if you have too much current running through it.** (Videos of it working and the circut are coming)Great one day project(total print time 4-6h/ circuit with voltage reg build time 1h at the most)I made fume extractors all different sizes and shapes and now i feel like i can finally put this project to rest with this version. It uses a 12v 40mm fan, uxcell 2 position vertical slide switch, active carbon pad. If you want a 2mm led you will need the appropriate power supply and voltage regulator combination. I still waiting for my voltage regulators to come in the mail so in the video mine is only connected to my fan at the moment. The tolerance for fitting parts is .2mm, meaning if i have a peg with a circumference 10mm it will go into a hole with the circumference 10.2. That seems to work for most people but if your part fits to loose i can upload a model with tighter tolerances.

***all these parts can be swapped with something cheaper but they need to be of similar size, the buck converter is a tight fit but shouldn't be a problem and the carbon pad comes with more than you will ever use in a lifetime
