Project to find a good set of parameters for a 17...19 ton LAV. Used software for dynamical analysis - LMS/Siemens Virtual.Lab Motion R13. For ABS braking systems - LMS/Siemens Imagine.Lab 13.2. You are mostly welcomed to download the movie and watch this "baby" in "live" action.

The hull geometry originates from a Russian BTR 70, that has been modified and adjusted where necessary. Original BTR70 gun system replaced and position adapted for higher caliber shooting and weapon mass.
The rest of the geometry is still in the conceptual phase of development, hence simplified. Also, wire-frame CAD can still be found in the model.

Main goal was to find good suspension characteristics, drive-line performance (testing multiple types of differentials on different test-grounds), fine-tune the steering subsystem and steering assisting controller, test multiple options for braking, get a good overview on the required power and full vehicle responses. Also, added an auto-aligning turret control system that dynamically finds the target and fires on the move, giving feedback on the error between actual targeted point and the desired mark on the drone (many thanks to "Suren RK" for the terminator drone and Rapisarda Antonino for the trailer geometry).

And YES, i know, the tires' profiles should be oriented in the opposite direction... ;-)
