86Hexapod is a open-source, 3D-printed hexapod robot designed by UFPATSAI to demonstrate the application of the 86ME (86Duino Motion Editor). 86Hexapod has 12 DOF and employs the low-cost TowerPro SG90 servos as its actuators. With 86Duino Zero/One as its controller, you can easily edit 86Hexapod's motion and automatically generate its control program using Sayter Wu's 86ME.
All 3D parts of 86Hexapod consists of 6 things (STL) :
A_arm_bottom
A_arm_top
linker
leg
body_bottom
body_top
Parts 1~4 compose one leg and Parts 5~6 compose the body. You need to print 6 legs and 1 body to assemble one entire 86Hexapod.
Watch the video for 86Hexapod moving.
The source code (automatically generated by 86ME) of 86Hexapod's walking program and 86ME project file can be found on 86Hexapod's GitHub page.
