From the book Golden Old and New - A Walking Tour Guide by Cathleen Norman (Page 12). “This tiny clapboard house is typical of homes found in the North Side neighborhood. Various additions were made to it over the years. Next door at 918 Tenth is a similar dwelling, a two storied clapboard with diamond shingles in the gable end. These and other small North Side homes resemble the shotgun miner's homes in mining towns like Central City.”
