STL Files for my 8 Servo Walking Quadruped.
This was my Year 13 technology project at St Patrick's College.
For educational use, recreational use, and further development.
Specifications:
Electronic Components:
• 3x AA Batteries arranged in a series configuration to provide 4.5V to the PICAXE chip.
• 4x AA Batteries arranged in a series configuration to provide 6V to the 8 servos.
• 8x SG90 Micro Servos.
• 1x Circuit Board.
• 1x 20M/M2/X2 PICAXE Microcontroller.
• 3x Light Dependant Resisters.
• 2x Infrared light emitting diodes.
• 1x Switch.
• 2x Light emitting diodes.
Body Parts:
• 4x Leg Brackets
• 4x Servo arm adaptors
• 4x Lower leg support arms
• 4x Servo support for body connection
Functions
• Walk in a straight line forwards and backwards
• Turn left and right
• React to its environment by detecting walls and turning to the side where the wall is the furthest.
• Respond to other robots differently depending on whether they are on the friendly list or not.
