The ATEX-HALP-48-2L-T8-2X36W Explosion Proof Fluorescent Fixture from Larson Electronics is ATEX/IECEx approved for Zones 1 and 2 and 21 and 22. This 72-watt unit is equipped with two, 4-foot lamps that operate on 220-240V AC. The IP66-rated fixture is made out of non-sparking materials that are highly resistant to rough impacts (IK10). This fluorescent lamp can be mounted on ceilings or walls using a pair of stainless steel mounting brackets.

The ATEX-HALP-48-2L-T8-2X36W is designed for use in hazardous locations and flammable buildings that require ATEX/IECEx rated fixtures. Consisting of two, 4-foot fluorescent lamps, the cold start unit is compatible with 220-240V AC, while consuming 72 watts (36 watts per lamp) during operation. A flood beam configuration ensures full coverage of the location when the light is in use. The lamp carries a T4 temperature rating. A NC switch provides all-pole disconnection when the unit is opened. Color temperature options include the following: 5000K, 4100K or 3000K.

This ATEX-rated fluorescent fixture is constructed of non-sparking materials for protection in flammable work sites. The housing on the unit is made out of glass fiber-reinforced polyester resin with polycarbonate lens and silicon foam gaskets. The IP66 unit offers exceptional resistance to hard impacts (IK10), with a threshold of 20 joules. Operators can lock the lamp using a small socket key (M8/wrench size 13).

Mounting: The ATEX-HALP-48-2L-T8-2X36W is compatible with wall or ceiling mount installations. Each fixture is equipped with two M25 hubs on either side of the lamp for completing electrical connections. When a stainless steel mounting bracket is attached to the luminary for mounting, it can be swiveled in increments of 15 degrees for accurate targeting.
