A 70mm medal of San Felipe Neri (St. Philip Neri). Center model made using an image of St. Philip Neri processed to produce a lithophane effect using https://tool.itslitho.com/UploadImg with rendering parameters for 0.8mm minimum thickness to 4.0mm maximum thickness.
Positive and negative lithophane images were printed. Please refer to the photos included as to the results. Positive lithophane is best viewed with a backlight. Negative lithophane best viewed using subdued ambient light in the shade (no direct light).
The STLs uploaded are in 3 parts: the center image, the base and the ring-text. Your slicer can scale each component as needed. My printing spec is at 70mm diameter and 4mm maximum thickness with a 0.8mm base.
