This is a 70mm Brushless Quad frame and prop guard. Note: I have built it, but not flown it yet. 3d Printed frames (especially at this size) probably have too much flex, we will see.
Note: There are "risers" built in for the ESC (since its chips need room below) and for the motors (so that props (if you use larger ones) don't hit the FC).
Build Parts
Racestar 4in1 6a ESC
Racestar 10,000kv 1103 Brushless motors
Piko BLX
Crazy Pony AIO Camera/VTX
FuriousFPV MicroRX
RotorX 2535 props cut to 44mm or DYS 2030 props cut to 44mm. DYS Props get around 70g thrust per motor and RotorX (4 blades) get 72g.
Turnigy nano-tech 300mah 2s battery
So far, everything but camera/vtx, and RX (which is only 1g) is around 34g. I'll update more as I get further (probably with a camera mount too).
1-6-2017 - Added Camera mount that fits the CrazyPony AIO Camera/VTX (3.6g!!). Right now, I am hot gluing it to the prop guard (at a 45deg angle), but I might build it into the prop guard or screw it to the standoffs. I printed in PLA and it is a snug fit to hold the camera in. Note the two notches are on the side are for taking a heavy zip tie, cutting it, and hot gluing it in the holes. This serves as a camera protector.
