I saw a site that had a DIY dial indicator mount and wanted to make one for myself. I didn't feel like putting it on my CNC so I printed it to see if it would work. IT DOES.
I found the plans for it on this site:
http://swarfrat.com/DialIndicatorClampPartsKit.htm
I contacted them to see if I could get a pre-made one or kit and they replied that they no longer offer the kit because they lost their distributor of the Cam Clamps. So with that I went on Amazon to see what I could dig up for Cam Clamps. I found TONS for under $20/each. So I went with this one because I liked the color:

Now the STL is setup for a 1/4-20 x 2"lng Socket head cap screw. If you need another size just let me know and I'll model it up for you and post it. I wouldn't go any smaller than 10-32 though.
Lastly, any dial indicator will work so long as it has a 3/8 shaft guide (actual part name is unknow to me). There is a hole accommodation for a 4-40 but I didn't need it, but it's there if you want it
I printed this at 50%, .15 layer height and 1.75 PLA. Similar settings will get you similar results.
