Our goal is to provide enough information to enable people to build low cost 3D printers from electronic waste and also keep potential 3D printers out of land fill.

I am working with Substation33 (non for profit social enterprise in Brisbane Australia).
We currently provide 3D printers to high schools, do our best to help the disadvantaged here in Brisbane, recycle e-waste, and up-cycle what we can into useful/interesting projects.
We are producing a series of YouTube video tutorials to show people how to build 3D printers from electronic waste.
Currently we are supplying these kits to high schools so the students can learn to build and use them.
The 3D printers were designed to use roller bearings (no linear bearings), making them very acurate and long lasting.
These printers run 8hrs a day printing high quality parts for more printers.
