I needed a robust, dependable 6-button wired remote control for a project. It needed to be usable with gloves on, and only take two analog GPIO pins on an Arduino. So I designed this remote!
It uses six D2FC microswitches, eight resistors (22k, 39k, 75k), a 3.5mm barrel jack, and two M3 x 6mm screws. The Arduino code to use the remote control is included! The microswitches slide into the controller and two dabs of glue will prevent all them from sliding out.
This controller is featured on my rotating timelapse rig, which is documented at https://td0g.ca/2018/09/23/camera-slider-2-0-irene-diy/
