When designing Eeva, I wanted to produce an elegant yet aggressive, speaking for itself design of a supercar, which would attract attention in traffic and turn heads on streets, while respecting traditional forms and values, normally associated with most famous (especially Italian) supercar brands.
With 1000+bhp under the hood, it must convey its character of a pure thoroughbred supercar, not just another sports coupe that you can see so many of nowadays but won’t feel anything for, nor remember them 10 minutes later.
In line with canonical supercar features, the body is as light and low as possible, to effectively slice through the air, while delivering sufficient amounts of air to the twin-turbo engine, its cooling system and brakes.
I kept the edges of the front lights housings sharp for the renders to highlight design decisions. They would be smoothed out in preparation for manufacture for better aerodynamics.
UPDATE: Added revised model of Street R with new aerodynamic front light covers that you can see on the cover render

Eeva Street R modification employs active elements to adjust aerodynamics and cooling system features automatically. It needs to be taken into consideration that systems such as active rear wings have already been patented and are likely to require a license. However, the fact that the rear flaps open extra air channels when raised is a major difference to those systems.

The design puts high priority on usability. The doorsteps are only slightly wider than the chassis, with the body coming in around that area, giving space to put your foot on the ground. The bottom window line is as low as possible, and with big rear window it plays towards achieving maximum visibility out of the cabin. The glass roof comes off in halves and can be put away behind the seats.
As an additional item not defined in the brief, I am offering a solution aimed to solve a long-lasting problem of luggage space in supercars, making the car more versatile and more suitable for journeys. Please note that this idea is currently patent pending.
The brief did not allow changing the windows surfaces. I need to mention that in its current form the windows may not wind down due to part of the chassis being in the way. This may be easily resolved by making the window cut angular, so that the window can slide down and slightly forward.

Due to technical issues (Alias not being able to fully understand supplied chassis model and export it into IGES/STEP with the body), the supplied IGES files have no chassis, just the body. If you want to use these files, you will have to import the body and the chassis separately into your rendering software.

I added an archived OBJ of Street R version that includes the chassis. Beware, 733Mb when unpacked! ***DELETED*** due to certain people trying to make money off it...
