After building my first planter, this is the first revision. This is more of a modular design. There is a base, and 2 side modules. Carriage bolts were used to attach the sides to the base, so that the entire planter can be disassembled for storage or transportation. Parts are all cuts of 2x4s and 6' pickets and the joints are basic (good for beginners?). Some joints require dowels and glue to bear the weight of the soil. The position where dowels were used is not included in the model. They are used where 2x4s joints need strengthening. Use 2 dowels in these joints if you can.
