Last crawled date: 2 years ago
A simple 3D printable proportional valve for microfluidics. Multi-material based, this valve allows for a combination of flexible and stiff materials to provide a control-able valve while maintaining device structural integrity elsewhere. Increase membrane (flexible material) thickness to tune flow rate at a given control pressure. PolyJet, multi-material, or binder jetting 3D printing methods are recommended to create the valve in a single print.

Dimensions: 28 x 5 x 5.3 mm. This specific model: 800 µm fluid channel, 800 µm control channel, 300 µm membrane

Materials:
Publication recommended: Stratasys TangoPlus (FLX930, flexible) and VeroWhitePlus (RGD835, stiff).
