I made this password generator in order to beef up my existing passwords without having to write anything down and/or without having to use an online password manager.
I have made it so that passwords can be easily recalled by following your own personal password algorithm. For example you could have a simple algorithm in which you only need to remember a four letter word like:
D - O - G - S
Then you use the rings on the tumbler to allocate special characters and numbers to each letter. If your ring order is 1 2 3 4 then DOGS looks something like this:
D# - O@1 - G$2 - S22
or
D#O@1G$2S22
and now you have made a secure password with only four letters.
You can increase the strength of your passwords by coming up with your own algorithm, as well as switching up the order of the rings, coming up with creative yet rememberable algorithms will only increase the strength of your password.
The single-ringed tumbler works very much in the same way, except you are only limited to one set of characters.
The caps on both the tall and short tumbler can both be unscrewed so that you can store anything you want, a small flash drive, micro SD cards, small pieces of paper, & anything else you can squeeze into the tumbler. Just don't write any passwords or codes. (that defeats the whole purpose)
The "board" as I like to call it is a way to backup the characters in case you lose the tumbler. The order is Ring 1, 2, 3, & 4. Print a couple, they're the size of a credit card and they'll save you in a pinch.
