Several Park tools( LRT-2, LRT-3, LRT-4 and BBT-18 ) use 36mm hex interfaces but most adjustable wrenches don't go that wide.
If you don't have a TWB-36 or a bench vise or a wide mouth adjustable wrench, this can be used as an adapter to a 3/8" or 1/2" drive socket wrench or breaker bar.
If your lock ring is really jammed on or loctited, this probably won't be able to apply enough torque to loosen it.
