This is a replacement for 3/4" cam locks, commonly found on RVs, alarm panels, mailboxes, etc. I'm using this to take locks off of a couple things where they aren't needed and replace with a more convenient thumb knob (water connection access door, CATV access door). Basically anywhere where a cam lock exists but convenience is more important than security.
This uses standard 3/4-24 threads, so while the printed nut is good for panels up to 5-8mm thick you can use a thinner metal nut to go up to 10mm thick or maybe a bit more without modification.
It allows 180 degrees of rotation with an internal stop, and the tab attachment point is the standard 3/8" square that most cam locks use for their tabs. I have a printable tab included, but you may need longer/offset/etc for your application. Chances are good that the one from the lock you're replacing will pop right on.
