This chuck is based on an old patent drawing for a Jacobs chuck. The chuck can hold bits up to 1/4 inch.
When assembling the chuck, the jaws must be inserted in the correct order. The parts have dot symbols on them to help you assemble them correctly.
The chuck has a tapered socket for press fitting to a shaft. The included shaft should fit a 1/4 inch hex screwdriver socket.
