3 inch Quadcopter frame for the RunCam Split Mini by DangerousDanFPV

This 3 inch frame was designed to be used with the RunCam Split Mini with the goal of having no props in the recordings. It turned out so good that I enjoy using it with or without the Split Mini. It has room for a second 20x20 stack that works for peripherals like a standard DVR (if you don't have a Split Mini). It also has a place to mount a Hawkeye Firefly mini action camera. I have used and really enjoy all four options (Split Mini, RunCam Mini DVR, Firefly, or no recording).

Files have been included for the top and bottom plates to be 3D printed or carbon fiber can be cut. The 3D printed version is reinforced to add rigidity. Of course carbon fiber will be stronger and lighter. If you have never had carbon fiber cut before, all you do is choose a CNC shop (I used CNC Madness), send them an email with the DXF files attached, decribe the desired thickness and quantity, and ask for a quote.
The base plate can either be 3D printed or carbon fiber can be cut. Both files are included. If you get carbon fiber cut, it can be either 2.5mm or 3mm thickness depending on the desired durability.
The top plate can either be 3D printed or carbon fiber can be cut. Both files are included. If you get carbon fiber cut, it should be 1.5mm thickness.
If you print the top or botton plates, its best to use a strong filament like nylon or polycarbonate. I used PETG and that worked fine.
The camera mount and antenna mount should definitely be printed in TPU. The camera mount requires supports when printing, but the antenna mount does not.
