There is a new version with all schematics and firmware. Have a look here
This is an enclosure for a FC22 gas/smoke detector I intend to us in my printer.
The detector I use is this type made for detecting smoke, CO2, benzene ...
Always check the marking on the sensor itself. The type of the print is always FC-22. It is just a different sensor. See picture.
I did some tests with it and the thing works fine.
To be mounted on a 2020-beam somewhere in the top part of the printer. My printer si fully closed, so the smallest amount of smoke will stay in the top compartment and since the detector will be there ...
Goal is to switch off all power electronics (heaters) when detecting smoke and eventually having an alarm connected to it.
For those driving their high power (lot of amps ) beds directly from the controller : mount one in the electronics enclosure!
The housing and the mount have a tight fit and the PCB is fully supported from both sides.
When using a translucent filament, the LEDs (Power and alarm) are visible from the outside.
This one is printed in PETG with a 0,6mm nozzle and 0,2mm layers.
