Team 1014 designed, modeled, and fabricated their robot for the 2017 challenge. 3-dimensional printed parts, laser-cut prototypes, and the partially plasma cut chassis all depended upon the use of Computer Aided Design to manufacture the innovative ideas. Here is the full CAD model of the 2017 robot base as of March 22nd, 2017. The model has certain specifications still in progress, such as the ball hopper assembly and electronic STEP file additions, as the second competition of the year approaches.
