So, That Just Happened
By many accounts and for so many reasons, 2016 has been one dumpster fire of a year.
So, we at PDX Hackerspace thought, why not commemorate it with your very own 2016 Dumpster Fire Ornament?
What You'll Need
AAA battery holder with on/off switch (or a CR2032 in a pinch)https://www.amazon.com/uxcell-Battery-Holder-Wired-Switch/dp/B00H8WINGG
Dumpster Fire LEDshttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017TR7EOQ/
Wire for Dumpster Lid and Ornament Hangerhttps://www.amazon.com/Decora-Gauge-Green-Floral-Package/dp/B010P9NW8M/
3D Print Instructions
Some resizing is needed for the flame, depending on if you want to tape together a CR2032/LED or solder and tape the AAA pack. We printed our flames using TPE filament with 0% fill and 1 or 2 perimeter layers, no supports, no raft.
For the AAA pack, the Flame should be resized to ~50mm width x ~35mm height x ~35mm depth.
For the CR2032 battery, resize the Flame to ~50mm width x ~50mm height x ~35mm depth.
If anyone needs more detailed instructions for assembly, let us know!
