2015 GMC Sierra Fuel Door Gas Cap Photogrammetry

Hi,
This is a 3D Scan done with photogrammetry of a 2015 GMC Sierra Fuel Door. The original was corroding, and I wanted to figure out photogrammetry, so this was a good test. Overall it did fairly well, but the edge is a little bumpy. I painted it flat black and speckled red paint on that to get good images for scanning. I used COLMAP and Meshlab.
I printed it out of ABS. In S3D I did 8 top layers, 20 bottom layers, 5 perimeters, lots and lots of support. You want the entire bottom side to be covered in support structure.
