1u switch bracket for HP 1400 24g procurve switch by nanoforge

Building on the bracket that was designed by user rob0tuss1n, i had to adjust the hole spacing to fit this tiny procurve switch. I picked the procurve 1400 up for $20 at a local recycling place. Its gigabit which is what i needed, and has a very small profile (depth). This was necessary, as i am just using a normal 2U patch panel rack for both the cabiling and the switch, so the switch needed to fit in there.
I ended up reversing the brackets and having the switch stick out 1-2 inches to provide clearance on the back for the power cord.
The spacing on the model if i can recall from memory was 11mm from the top and bottom to the holes. 22mm between holes, both left and right and up and down, and i believe 20mm from the front of the bracket to the first hole. (all distances measured from the centre of the holes.)
rob0tuss1n's bracket was a spacing of 25mm between holes.
I ended up using 6x32 1/2 inch bolts as mounting hardware to fasten the bracket to the side of the switch.
The only problem i had was that the rack holes for the rack screws was a little bit tight, so if i did a version 4, i would make them 1mm wider. the rack screws work fine now, but the fact that its an oval should mean that i can adjust while racking. I cannot with this mount as the rack screw digs into the mounting hole making left/right play not possible. The holes for the mounting the switch could use to be countersunk as well. Oh well, its very much good enough, and not bad for a few hours work!
EDIT, doesnt seem like I can add tags as thingiverse is glitching out and giving me token expired messages. oh well
