This is a1Pc Extruder adapter for the Flexion Extruder. on a Robo R1 and the R1+. It is
held in place with friction fit and 4 locking screws. You will need to countersink the two screw holes that hold the extruder nozzle bracket to the extruder motor for this you will need 9mm or a 11/32 drill. The two screws that hold this on the extruder motor are the flat socket head screws and you will need the clearance for it to fit in the extruder adapter.
If you mark the holes for the bearing locking screws on the black bearing holders with the extruder adapter in place, it will make it easier to lock the two together. you will need to drill all the way down to the metal bearing case (BUT NOT IN THE METAL BEARING CASE ) Make a pilot hole with a 2 to 3 mm drill through the extruder adapter that is in place on the bearing housings. Then take off the extruder adaptor so you can finish the holes with a 4 to 5 mm drill in the black plastic bearing housings. Do not drill through the extruder adapter with anything larger tan a 3mm drill bit because you will enlarge the extruder adapter hole and a 4mm tap will not fit the hole on the adapter.
Items you will need to purchase or have on hand:
1 Flexion Extruder
1 Nema 17 Stepper Motor with a 34mm body you can get this on Amazon or ebay

2 flat washers for 12 mm cap screws
1 3mm 05x33mm long socket head screws
