All 18650 batteries are not created equal. All filament materials as well as printers and slicers do not print the same. Before I started working on a cell holder I wanted a method to accurate determine the required hole size for a particular brand cell, material and printer. I measured several 18650 cells I had on had and came up with diameters ranging from 18.05 to 18.30 mm in diameter. So the gauge I came up with has hole sizes from 18.00 to 18.50 mm in diameter in 0.05 mm increments.
Cura told me that this was "too large" to print on my Creality Ender-2. I told Cura the bed was 10mm larger in the X and Y directions. Then Cura was satisfied. This print requires about eight hours on Ender-2 printer.
Update:
I needed bit more range so I created one with 16 holes from 18.00 to 18.75
