16 Segment Display (Single LED Strip)

Last crawled date: 5 years, 9 months ago
A 16 segment display using a single led strip. Case fits regular, non-coated WS2812 strips (10mm wide, 5V, 60 leds/meter).
73.3mm (w) x 94.4mm (h) x 24mm (d).
It's using 26 LEDs, 4 of them are not used. If you want to, you can remove them and modify the sketch (segment definitions) accordingly.
Arduino sketch shows a possible way of using the display module. A-Z are already defined, so are 0-9. Sketch is using the FastLED library.
6 segments (vertical ones) are using 2 leds, the other ones 1. So this obviously works best at medium/low ambient lighting.
