13m Displacement Motoryacht

With this draft I oriented myself by the steel build dutch displacement motoryachts. It's 13m long and should weight around 15 tons. As it's only 3,25 wide at the waterline, it should run quite economic at 8 knots with around 0,5l diesel per km. For hull-speed (10 knots) it needs 110hp. So a good motorization would be a 150hp Diesel like Volvo-Penta D3-150 (2,4l with 5 cylinders, only 300kg with gear unit).
In the afterbody is place for a large cabin about the full width (around 12m²). In the front would fit a second, little smaller one. Engine fits under the deckhouse. The freeboard is quite high (>2m) and the keel could host some ballast, whereby it would be very ocean-going.

I did not focus on good-looking design, but rather on best possible and simple way of building; for home-builders. The originals begin at 300.000,- Euros in this size.....

Some details like a railing are still missing.
