1/270 scale ESB Star Destroyer 'Avenger' Bridge Shield Projector/Sensor Dome

I love FFG's X-wing miniatures but not enough to build a 1/270 scale Imperial Star Destroyer. Even if I had a room big enough, it would dominate more than 100 square feet and would take almost 50 turns to 'fly' from stem to stern – more than twice as long as the studio model. So I decided I would settle, instead, for a single, 3D printable bridge shield projector (or sensor globe depending on who you ask). It's all broken down into 40, individual, (I know) printable bits. I found tons of great reference material over at the Replica Prop Forum and also at 'Scale Model Addict' both of which had some great detail photos of the original model. I based scale on the shot from ESB when the Falcon is 'hiding' parked on the back of the bridge superstructure. The original scratch-built studio model from the film looks to be about half this size. Enjoy! Edit: I re-arranged the components in a more print-friendly configuration for quick and easy printing. Simply 'unhide all.' Edit - 2/27/2017: I'm doing a first print in ABS on a LULZbot Taz4. I'll revise the model based on how it performs. Edit - 12/30/2017: Ran into some trouble with some of the smaller bits not triggering support structures so I added some bits that will have to be manually removed (in bright red) So make sure those bits are hidden or removed if you plan to use the model as a detail in a larger one instead of printing. Also fixed an overlap in the base that had been previously overlooked. Edit - 2/10/2017: Print looks great!
