Since its completetion in 1989, the building was simply known as the ARCO Tower, due to its massive logo, at one time, Los Angeles had 3 Arco Towers! By 1998 the logo had been taken down, Due to ARCO's financial problems in 1998, resulting in major job losses in Los Angeles and Texas, in result Arco vacated the other two Towers the very same time, including one they've occupied since 1972. The Building is built across the freeway in West Downtown, a small skyline, consitsting of 2 major highrises (The other being 1100 Wilshire) Due to its location the Tower is very prominent in the skyline, it rises 462 Feet, 33 Floors.
