A more realistic version of the throttle bodies based on the parts installed in the 1969 Ford Mustang RTR driven by Vaughn Gittin Jr. and in the HPI scale version shell.
I recommend trimming a hole in the bonnet area and either glueing the part to the inside of the bonnet with lexan-compatible epoxy, or with 1-2mm thick double-sided tape. Personally would recommend using tape instead of glue to avoid damaging the paint, and the small gap between the throttle bodies and the body might just add that extra touch of realism.
It's up to you, and comes down to the printer you use, but personally I recommend printing the flutes and base seperate, removing the supports, and painting the parts individually priot to installation. The holes in the flutes can either be used to fasten each part with screws,or for the installation of LED's.
Product had been printed and tested, and flaws in the drawing repaired. V1.2 (current) yet to be printed, tested and reviewed. A solid (one-piece) STL will be uploaded soon.
This design was published to be used and printed free of charge and not to be distributed or sold for profit. (My contribution to RC Hobbyists to try and keep it as affordable as possible). Printing, installation and usage is done at your own risk.
