0.5V, 250 mA Solar Panel Soldering Fixture and Case

This particular model has:
5x 0.5V, 250 mA solar panels in series with a max peak Voc (Voltage open circuit) of near 3 Volts so it doesn't destroy a 3V supercapacitor that I will charge with this.

I used the case as a fixture to help solder the panels together. M3 fasteners are fastened to brass inserts that are press fit into the case.

Caution serious injury or death may occur if you don't know how to use the supercapacitor!
i.e. it short circuits.

Use this ideal diode to prevent reverse current leakage from the supercapacitor to the solar panels when they get shaded or it gets dark:
