Sure everyone has recognised the ongoing trend for tablet-pc´s like the i-pad these days. They allow you to browse the net on your couch, read e-books and to relax while playing some games. maybe you also have noticed some apps that enable you to sketch on those tablets and even hardware for sketching and drawing has been developed.
due to the limited processing-power, ram and sizes, those devices stay (yet very entertaining...) toys, never meant for professional use.
My design is a hybrid between a digital drawing-board(like the wacom cintiq 21ux) and a highend notebook. With its dockingstation, along with a keyboard and mouse it can used as a desktop replacement, or as a secondary monitor for your desktop. the hardware in the tablet may also be used to extenend the power of your primary system (+ 4 cores, 8gb and nvidia cuda) while connected.
As a mobile device it can be used anywhere you like. If you prefer to do your photoshop work on the couch, like to create your next piece of concept art in your favourite cafe or discuss new ideas with a customer while sketching them, then this tablet will fit your needs.

Some features i would like it to have:
- screensize 17"-21"
- min 4core processor
- min 8gb ram
- min 2 gb vram
- ssd´s
- wireless hdmi
- high-resolution pressure-sensitive stylus/airbrushing function
- high-resolution multitouch screen

-plugins must be written for common graphics software like corel painter, z-brush, mudbox, the adobe creative suite...

this design could be interesting for:
-graphic designers
-cgi artists
-concept and game artist
-fine artists
-tatoo artist
-comic-artists
-photographers
...

hope you like it
comments and critique always welcome
