** Real building information **One of the six similar buildings located at Plac Grunwaldzki square in Wroclaw, Poland. Coloquially named Manhattan (of course!) or "sedesowce", due to the windows reminding a toilet bowl. Meanies say it is as clean too.http://wroclaw.hydral.com.pl/foto/154/154114.jpghttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plac_GrunwaldzkiDesigned by Jadwiga Grabowska-Hawrylak in 1967.Google maps:The initial ambitious design had to be deteriorated due to the shortage of proper materials and financing during the communism era in Poland. Nowadays the whole complex needs renovation but the co-op ownership does not guarantee it soon. Paradoxically, the seedy look makes it even more impressive.** Model information **Vertex count: 201938Faces count: 154968The main effort has been paid to reflect the unique android-like shape and balcony design. The interior has been made just roughly. The proportions are estimated. No textures, just material placeholders (for Cycles) with self explaining names and colors reminding the real ones.To move the model around grab an Empty "building.pivot" rather than the building itself. To add floors to the building modify the count value in array modifier of balcony.long.left.1 object. The range is 2...infinity. The real height is at value of 8. All the floors will adjust accordingly, including roof and lights (you may need to move frame slider to refresh the model after changing the array count!).Note, each array step increases floor count by 2. This is due to the specific balcony pattern.Have a fun and visit Wroclaw for more detailed reference ;-)Squat KromeraP.S.This is my first published model. Please forgive possible issues. Any comments are welcome.
