Originally ground gothic house from the 14th century in which the city council met, was rebuilt in 1488 on a storey building. In early 16th century the building was erected chapel. Anne, which was demolished in the 18th century and in its place was built a sculpture of the Virgin Mary. Hall got its present form in the years 1787 - 1788. In the interior hall is a baroque ceiling fresco symbolizing justice. In the basement of the town hall was the town prison. The town hall are connected by two štiavnické wonders. The entrance to the hall from the back and exchanged hands on the clock tower.
