Here in SA we where pretty much in the lead in the design and development of mine protected vehicles, starting with the Buffle, then the Casper and then the Mamba and others. We did this monocoque design for an international client a number of years ago. It has evolved, protecting many from the dangers of IED’s and mines, it has even made an appearance in a Hollywood block buster with some of demining tools attached. I have converted in from my original Autodesk Inventor. The rendering is a little poor but it shows the parts quit well.
