The Kavetto tool holder system uses a set of hard points (Kavetto_Mounts) that can be attached to the chassis of the Replicator 2 and 2X, and other printers that use the same construction, though the set has only been tested on Replicators.

Please note the orientation in the overview picture. These models can all be printed with one-extruder using no support material. Combine models for your desired setup. Raft etc is highly recommended.

Note: Installation requires the purchase of M5x14 bolts to replace the stock bolts, and are available from McMaster Here: http://www.mcmaster.com/#95263A360

Once the mounts are installed, the tool keepers can be attached in any configuration that is desired. The latches that are printed with the Mounts file are press fit around the bolt hole, and are coded R and L for Right and Left when facing the mount. The R and L markings should be on the inside, and not viewable after installation to ensure proper function. The latches can be rotated down, where they will snap into place and prevent the attachments from disengaging accidentally.

The attachments include the following.

• The Fan accepts most small files, markers, clam knives, Dremel® bits, and screwdrivers.

• The Box can accommodate flashlights, toothbrushes, and other miscellaneous tools

• The Hook comes in handy for rags or tools with lanyards.

• The Spooler holds a spool of filament, and is meant for the two upper most holes on the back of the printer, where two Spoolers can be installed without interfering with the spools in use. The Spooler is not made for installation on the front of the machine.
