Here is an entry for the https://grabcad.com/challenges/stax-accessory-challenge.

This is still a work in progress and I have been having a hard time getting the Stax files into SolidWorks 2012 to allow me to render them with my model so look for updates... but I wanted to get what I had going up here as I have already seen one other Arduino case.

This is based of the Arduino Uno but any board (I think most of the Arduinos and compatible boards will work). there is room for one micro-controller with a shield and below there is a flat area where a small breadboard or battery pack could be attached. on the back side, there is a nice flat area perfect for a solder-less breadboard wtih cutouts near the Arduino pins to allow for jumpers to passed to the other side. the sides of the enclosure are flat to allow it sit on your desk when wiring and building your circuit and the ridge is sized to be held snugly in the Stax system for safe keeping.

This accessory needs four (4) of the StaX mid parts and works best if the top is used as the base and bottom is used as the top to provide easy access to the USB and power.

In the renders I used https://grabcad.com/library/arduino-uno-r3-1 by https://grabcad.com/andrew_whitham-1 and https://grabcad.com/library/breadboard-for-electronics-projects-1 by https://grabcad.com/shane.anderson-1. Thanks guys!
