With the recent inclusion of bike maps into the Google Maps iPhone app- I knew it was time to release this. I hope it joins you on your biking adventures. s( ^ ‿ ^)-b

After scouring the internet for the perfect iPhone bike mount, I decided I would make my own. I needed a unique design that would fit my unique scenario. As a biker I need to prepare for the next series of turns. It's also essential that my bike equipment is theft-proof. I designed an adaptable mount that was optimized for the 3D printing community.

To make the model as accessible to 3D-printing communities, I designed for the following outcomes:
+ adaptability
+ 3D print-ability
+ dimension independence

For the model to be accommodate for the world's range of handlebars, I made a "sandwich" clamp that could fit around any girth. This design is easier to print as opposed to other "clipping" clamps, and provides security to the mount. After using any set of screws, the mount is fastened in place.

(Update) Thank you for your downloads! I'm considering making a second version with the following improvements:
+ straight screw orientation
+ bracket modeling that fits universal handle-bar diameter
+ hole for camera and mic recording
+ will be tested on slic3r and **makerware** 3D based printers

(Update) Thank you Thomas Mantziouras for the rendering! I hope it printed well :D

Thank to Labbidi for making a great vertical design:
