Don't Forget Fruit!

An entry for the Make the Unmakeable Design Challenge.

My New Years Resolution is to eat more healthily, I, like most others live a busy life and don't always give myself the opportunity to eat correctly, too much fast food and not enough healthy fruit and veg is a constant issue.

In order to combat this I have invented "Don't Forget Fruit" This is a collapsible fruit case that can be attached to a key chain and carried with you in a coat pocket, handbag, rucksack to always give you a healthy snack that's protected any time you need it.

I feel this invention will motivate me to eat more healthily by making it easier to carry fruit with me, the case is designed to fit an apple or orange sized fruit, and when not in use can be collapsed using a unique concertina type effect to make a slim disk on your keychain.

The two halves of the case are threaded to create a quick and easy connection, and the concentric rings have a taper to ensure that when pushed into the open position they will stick into place creating a resilient shell.
