So I had this concept a few years ago and did this design. I hope I have all the parts you need to view the assembly as there are ALLOT of bits and pieces.
Basically it uses a dual Pendelton concept in which the "rotors" or Pendelton wheels are mated together via high speed gears. I also made a sort of turbo/supercharger that works on the same principals. In this purely conceptual engine the intake and compression "stroke" are handled via turbochargers or "bi-axial turbine" (What I call the supercharger/turbo hybrid) the pressurized air pushes on the rotors until the following edge of the rotor seals off the intake ports. The two volumes of pressurized air combine in the lower section of the engine where fuel and spark are added via direct injector and spark plug (Fuel can be added prior to this after the compressor stage if direct injection is problematic) The expanded gas pressure wants to escape between the rotors and applies a force to them as it naturally wants to equalize with the lower pressure volume above it. These gasses are then reignited to ensure a complete burn before making its way to the exhaust ports and applying force to the rotors again. The rotors end up with a force applied in the direction of the rotation on the intake, expansion, equalization, and exhaust events. This is just a concept but I hope to inspire someone as its just been sitting on my computer for several years. Feel free to ask questions :)
