The concept here was to meet as much of the criteria s possible as listed below;

Contactless Credential - Here I tried to make it ergonomically friendly by placing it an angle to the mounting service. I made the assumption of majority 'right hand users' although still usable by both

Mag Stripe - Here again I placed it an angle. Although the key feature was to have it optional with a 'blank' component where not needed but still to occupy the space

Pin Pad - All the keys with braille incl. Optional again with a blank cover plate where not needed.

Audible feedback - Included, I tried to keep the Audio&Visual close together.

Visual feedback - Power, entry, denied, lights. Angled and shaped to fit with angles to match

Mounting - Here I took a leap of faith, not being a fan of 'Tamper proof' screws as technicians often don't have the tool with them, I decided to take a mechanical route:
Mount the first baseplate(with protruding tags) using wall plugs/rawl-bolts/Hextech etc. Take either complete unit or secondary baseplate only and use the 'Roadmap'(consisting of certain movements) to locate/mount it into place. The ASSUMTION being that not knowing the correct 'Roadmap' you won't be able to remove the unit.

Mounting option 1 - as mostly described above

Mounting option 2 - first baseplate includes holes matching a 2x4 gangbox. Magstripe and original pc board does not allow to much in the realms of 'flush-mount'

Mounting option 3 - Only difference here is to make a universal spacer that can go around various mullion sizes(to be cut on site?) Thereby filling the gap on either side, assuming a center-mount?

Mounting option 4 - I thought to create a pole mount for around turn-tyle gates. Again a universal sorts will be needed.

Optional protective visor - Included, also serves as a gasket between 2 mounting plates. Where not needed a gasket will be introduced in the assembly.

Additional design considerations - I've tried to break away from the norm without compromising the function too much. With regard to the 'no keypad option' perhaps the cover-pate could be a printed panel with company logo?

I think in terms of colours etc. there is still a lot that can be refined.
With above being said, I'll keep updating more renders and images, hopefully explaining things better visually.

As always,thanks for the opportunity, what a challenge, indeed
