I've tried to design a frame with a large mass reduction, good printability and futuristic aesthetics, focusing on the takeoff load case. I've made this decision because I think takeoff is one of the most critical moments for the quadcopter structure in terms of stress: takeoff is the instant when payload starts to hang from the frame.

The forces applied to the model are the motors thrust (upwards), the electronics weight (downwards) and the payload (considered as fixed). This last one has been considered as fixed because Generate software needs at least one fixed face. The payload is a large force downwards, so I think replacing this force by a fixed face is reasonable.

In the design of the initial rough shape, I've placed little plates in the arms of the frame in order to make the attachment of the ESC modules easier.
