A design proposal for a Rotary Handle, made of plastic material and optimized for injection moulding process.

The target was to reach a maximal stability in combination with a minimum use of material.

An ergonomic feeling of the handle, together with an anti-slip function in radial- and axial direction, was a further requirement.

The wall thickness should be kept more or less equal.

This Rotary Handle has a bore diameter, dimensioned for pressing-on to a shaft with a nominal diameter of 13 mm.

Be inspired for a further developement, which is based on my model, for other applications.

Recommended material for high-tech industrial applications: »PBT GF30«

One application, for example, can be the handle of the rods for a Table Football/ Table Soccer. A rotation movement as well as an axial movement must be possible.

Shared 3D-data:
Native file of the part, for users of "PTC Creo Parametric 2.0" (unzipped file size: 416,7 MB) and a STEP-file (.stp), as the most important format for the exchange of 3D-Data.

A hint for PTC-users: Try to reduce the file size. Have a look at the "Model Tree" and you can see, why my model has such a big file size.

All Construction Elements "Drafts" can be deleted, if you give the lines in the sketcher an angle, instead a vertical orientation.

Thanks for your attention!
