My proposal of the » NASA Handrail Clamp«
The fastening concept for the handrail clamp is based on a combination of two wire springs and one clamping element with a wedge.
No additional screws and /or fastening clips are needed.
Order of assembling:
The two half shells of the clamp can be assembled in radial direction.
The wire springs can be assembled in radial - or axial direction.
The clamping element with the integrated wedge has to be assembled in axial direction at last.
The outer shape of the complete clamp is a relative harmonic design, with less overhanging elements.
The disassembling seams to be not so easy, in comparison with other design concepts. But it is possible.
The manufacturing feasibility of all parts is given (machined and /or by injection molding).
