Technology is a big ordain in our twenty first century life. It is likely that you experience problems with technology and its complexity. Technology can be very complicated at times and when problems erupt, it might be hard to fix it. However, some technology problems have very fundamental solutions and they can start from simple 3d printing software. Speaking of problems, have you ever experienced issues when trying to insert a USB drive into something? Sometimes you would be lucky and put it in the correct way, other times you have to turn and twist it to get it to go in. USB drives have labels but they are not obvious enough and what if you are not looking? To solve this issue, we have created a compact and portable USB case to show the correct side of the USB. A problem that you would encounter when making products totally out of silicone is there is no grip to hold things on. To fix this issue, we decided to create half spheres inside the USB to grip it and prevent the USB from falling out of the case. We also made the corners of the USB in the shape of a round roof to make the USB more comfortable for gripping or holding. On the top of the USB we will put a caption saying “Top Side” to indicate the correct facing side of the USB drive. The bottom of the case will be a smooth silicone base that acts as a structural support by having the legs in the bottom to prevent the USB case from sliding around and help it stay up.
