Locking Lug Nut (Pat Pending)

A friend of mine just had $7,000 of wheels and tires stolen off of his F-250 while he slept. He had the typical tamper-proof lug nut set up installed, but when thieves can buy a $49.99 tool kit to turn the many styles of Tamper-Proof lug nuts, the nuts themselves become nothing more than a deterrent. I propose my design for this Locking lug nut. Made up of a combination of alloy and hardened steel this rugged lock will have any thief looking for a different target. The cylindrical lock mechanism itself is on the market with over 900,000 keys manufactured. I have the locking mechanism prototype already built, but I would like to use the LeapFrog Creatr 3D Printer to produce the lug nut itself. Thanks for viewing!
