This table is designed to minimize total cost while keeping with Sovella's design intent of an ergonomic and cost competitive design.

Cost: $317 (no tooling cost included)
The way this design keeps cost down is by using common hydraulic pumps found in barbershop chairs. The cost of a 300kg pump start at $16, I'm getting quotes from China for under $50, but I'm using $50 as the baseline. The frame is made of stamped components which are symmetrical maximizing blank yield. I'm guessing the manufacturing will be down in Ga, and I'm not taking into account any welding jigs (depends on quantity). Overall I get a cost of $317 for parts and finishing (satin chrome).

Ergonomics:
With respect to ergonomic design I'm showing the height based on the criteria with a U.S. 90% adult male.

Manufacturing:
The design is a modular design with Chinese hydraulic pumps coming in bulk to Sovella hq ($100/unit is my conservative assumption, one pump costs $16). This pump will have gussets welded on along with the base. The top of the hydraulic pump has another gusset assembly that is bolted on with 2xM8 bolts. There is an anti-rotation bead included (hidden). The bolt-on gusset will have 3 gussets welded onto it. The gussets are symmetrical and can be cut from the same blank. The table-top frame is a folded-over blank which gives the option of adding additional optional shelves if need be (not shown).

I have a $33 remaining to use on making it more aesthetically pleasing which I may do in another option.
