Pretty accurate model of my 1987 Haro Master Kneesaver handlebars. In general, the bars themselves seemed to vary a lot and had poor quality control, so I was forced to make some best guesses to some aspects of their design. I've seen many examples and they are all a bit different from each other, but have some key commonalities as well. I did not fillet the weld joints so as to make it easier to see how the parts should fit together if a person were to want to make some of these.

Please note that there is a taper to the vertical/side tubes which transitions from 1" to 7/8" as it progresses from bottom to top. From my own example, it appears that this transition takes place mostly in between the two bends on those tubes in the middle section of the tube. If I were to make these, I think I would have the tubes tapered on a lathe, then bent into shape so that the lower portion of the bars would have a thick wall and only the handle section would be thinner. A .120" wall tubing tapered by .0625" (appox.) would leave an appropriate wall thickness at the handle. Crossbars (upper and lower) can probably be either .058" or .065" wall thicknessMaterial should be 4130 Chromoly tubing.
